Outreach Program

The Outreach Program at the Saint Nicholas National Shrine is designed to strengthen the Shrine’s role as a center of service, compassion, and community engagement in New York City. The program brings together initiatives that support vulnerable populations, foster leadership, and create meaningful partnerships with schools, parishes, and local organizations. By addressing social needs while encouraging volunteerism and community participation, the outreach program reflects the Shrine’s commitment to living the Christian values of service, dignity, and solidarity with those in need.

The outreach program emphasizes compassionate service and inclusive community support. Initiatives such as food and clothing drives, and partnerships with local shelters, will provide direct assistance to individuals experiencing homelessness. Collaboration with affiliated Orthodox parishes will strengthen shared service projects, educational exchanges, and joint community initiatives.
