Homeless Outreach / Midnight Run – Ministry Description The Homeless Outreach / Midnight Run ministry of St. Nicholas is a charitable outreach initiative committed to supporting individuals experiencing hardship in New York City. Once a month, volunteers come together to prepare and distribute food, clothing, and essential supplies directly to people in need, reflecting the parish’s mission of service and compassion.
Ways to Help
There are several ways parishioners and visitors can support the Homeless Outreach / Midnight Run ministry
Donate Financially
Donations support the purchase of food, clothing, and essential supplies for our monthly outreach.
Donate Clothing & Supplies
Gently used coats, clothing, and hygiene items are always welcome and distributed directly to those in need.
Volunteer with a Vehicle
Volunteers with access to a car or larger vehicle are needed to assist with transportation and distribution
Volunteer Your Time
We meet once per month to distribute food and clothing in the city. Volunteers are encouraged to participate in person and assist with preparation and distribution.
